Our Mission Statement:
Adnil Press was founded by homeschoolers, for homeschoolers. We aim to provide the best in home education products, serving the homeschooling community in Australia. Although we realise we will never be able to compete with the large superstores, we always aim to offer resources at the best possible price. Most of what we stock we have used in our own homeschool, and pride ourselves on knowing our products. We hope to be able to answer any questions you may have in regards to all our books, cds and dvds. If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions please don’t hesitate to contact us.
ADNIL PRESS was started in the year 2000, when, armed with only a computer, a photocopier, and a simple binding machine, we began to self-publish our English programme, 'Voyages in Language and Voyages in Literature'. As time went by, we added several other suppliers to our range, and then in 2005, we became incorporated with Trivium Educational, thereby stocking an amazing range of resources for the homeschool.
Unfortunately, the large super-stores made it very difficult to compete in the pricing wars, so, in 2011, we began along a different route again; no longer importing very many products, but rather concentrating on setting up a print room, where we can print and distribute materials without the need for international postage. Of course, we continue to publish our own resources as well, including our ever-popular title, 'Australia, the Wide Brown Land for Me!'
We wete the sole Australian Representative of 'The Institute for Excellence in Writing' for 10 years. Having used this programme in our own homeschool for several years, we are able to answer any questions you may have about this superb writing programme.
Sadly, in December 2016 our printing contract ceased. While we could have shipped everything in from that point on and continued, the time, cost, and space needed to stock such a large range of products made it impossible, so we made the tough decision to close.
We are a busy homeschooling family, having eight children who have all been homeschooled. Three have left home for either University or to work, two are now in TAFE, and three remain studying at home. Many of the items you find on our site are ones we use ourselves.
If we can be of service to you, please contact us, and we shall get back to you as soon as we can.
Bill and Linda.
